Iain S Donald LLB (Senior Partner)

Iain graduated from Leeds University and then trained in Leeds qualifying in 1976. After working in Yorkshire he moved back to Derby in 1979 to join Bemrose & Ling as a Criminal Lawyer.

Iain has for the last 20 years specialised in Family Law, particularly financial disputes in Divorce. Iain is also a member of the Law Society Children Panel representing children and parents in care proceedings and disputes concerning children.

As Senior Partner, Iain is also responsible for the day to day running of the practice including Complaints and Client Care.

Sharon M Meanley LLB (Hons)

Sharon joined the firm as a newly qualified solicitor in 1999, at that time known as Sharon Busby and specialising in Family Law.

During 2003 Sharon became an Associate Partner of Bemrose & Ling, and has been an Equity Partner since 2006. Sharon is responsible for the non-contentious side of the practice, currently specialising in Probate Law, managing the Property and Commercial Department and the Wills, Probate and Private Client Department of the practice.
